  • 09.30 - 10.00: Welcome and registration of pupils at the conference
  • 10.00 -10.30:  Conference opening ceremony - Greetings
  • 10.30 - 11.00: Icebreaker games
The schools from Thessaloniki and abroad continue with a visit to the City Hall, a photography-tour of Elefsina and organized visits to events/exhibitions of the Cultural Capital.
The schools: 8th Primary School of Philadelphia, 10th Primary School of Ilioupoli, 4th and 5th Primary Schools of Petroupoli, 39th Primary School of Peristeri, 4th and 7th Primary Schools of Elefsina, attend the following schedule:
  • 11.00 - 12.30: Pupils’ routes around Elefsina
  • 12.30 - 13.00: Snack break (sandwich)
  • 13.00 - 13.30: Presentations of experts
  • 13.30 - 15.30: Visioning roundtables on the topics: industry-energy, mobility, buildings, food-agriculture, waste, cultural heritage, sea-coast-public space
  • 15.30 - 16.00: Presentation to the plenary of the pupils’ proposals for the climate neutrality of Elefsina
  • 16.00 - 17.00: Return to Athens
The schools: 1st and 3rd High School of  Kalamaria, 1st High School of  Pylaia, 2nd High School of Perea, 11th High School of Thessaloniki, 1st Primary School of  Elefsina, 3rd Primary School of  Zografou, Schweizerhof Elementary School (Germany), Wilhelm-von-Humboldt School (Germany), Temple- Grandin School (Germany), Private elementary school Tvrđava (Serbia), Rapatnica Primary School (Bosnia-Herzegovina), Slavko Lumbarkovski, Municipal Primary school (North Macedonia), Faik Konica Primary and lower secondary school (Kosovo), Ismail Klosi (Albania) , attend the following schedule:
  • 10.00 - 11.30: Pupils’ routes around Elefsina in mixed groups - Departure from X-Bowling Art Center
  • 11.30 - 12.00: Snack break (sandwich)
  • 12.00 - 12.30: Presentations of experts
  • 12.30 - 14.30: Visioning roundtables on the topics: industry-energy, mobility, buildings, food-agriculture, waste, cultural heritage, sea-coast-public space
  • 14.30 - 15.30: Presentation to the plenary of the pupils’ proposals for the climate neutrality of Elefsina
  • 15.30 -16.30: Round-up and synthesis of the pupils’ proposals during the first two days of the conference 
  • 09.00 - 10.00: Synthesis of the pupils’ visioning proposals - Creating a resolution
  • 10.00:  Arrival of pupils from foreign countries and representatives of Athens schools at X-Bowling Art Center
  • 10.00 - 10.30: Presentation of resolution in plenary
  • 10.30 - 12.45: Parallel workshops for visualization of the pupils’ vision for a climate-neutral Elefsina: a) Visual map of Elefsina, b) Creation of slogans and pickets, c) Creation of a song, d) Photo exhibition - captions, e) Artistic Visualization, f) Construction of a sculpture, g) Theatrical event, h) Musical event and dance
  • 12.45 – 13.00: Reflection and feedback activity in a circle – Sharing feelings
  • 13.00 - 13.30: Snack break (sandwich)
  • 13.30 - 14.30: Pupils’ march to the City Hall, performance of the song by the students and presentation of the conference proposals for the transition towards a climate neutral future to the Mayor of Elefsina.
